Ezekiel 22:30 reads “I looked for someone to stand in the gap before me for the land so that I would not destroy it, but I found no one.” A gap represents a place of weakness involving someone other than ourselves who needs someone to go to prayer and battle for. Esther is a great example of an intercessor. She gave her whole life preparing and one day stood in the gap for all the Jews and kept them from being destroyed. Moses pleaded with God not to destroy the Hebrews for making and worshipping a golden calf (an idol). At the beginning of STWC, we were called to be an interceding church. We intercede for others, our territory, nation, and other nations of the world and have seen God intervene in doing mighty things.
We meet in the sanctuary of STWC every Wednesday evening at 8:00 PM for intercession and pray as Holy Spirit leads us.
